Areas Of Practice

Invisalign makes use of a series of clear and almost invisible aligners that are custom-made specifically for each patient. These aligners are removable, and as you change to new aligners every two weeks, your teeth will start their gradual movement in small increments day by day, week by week, towards the final projected position.
Pinhole Dental Surgery uses the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique (PST), a less invasive alternative to the traditional gum graft procedure, and does not involve incisions and sutures. This procedure can restore your receding gum lines with little disruption to your daily life and produces immediate results.
Dental implants have been the preferred teeth replacement option at G Dental Center. It restores a lost tooth so that it looks, feels, fits and functions like a natural tooth. A dental implant is an artificial root made of titanium metal to replace the root of a natural tooth. An artificial tooth is attached to the implant, which is custom-made to match your real teeth. We have selected the Straumann dental implant system (ITI) from Switzerland for our patients.
Wisdom tooth extraction is a surgical procedure to remove wisdom teeth. If a wisdom tooth does not have enough space to erupt, this will impact the neighbouring tooth and may result in pain, tooth decay, infection or other dental problems, and you will likely need to have it extracted.
Some of the most popular teeth whitening systems in the world are selected for our patients, such as BriteSmile and Opalescence etc. Depending on the clinical condition and social needs of our patients, we will prescribe a suitable system for each patient. Home and in-office whitening systems are available for patients with busy schedules.

X-ray and CBCT

X-rays are also known as radiographs. They are an important part of dental diagnosis and treatments. X-rays can help a dentist detect potential issues in a patient’s mouth before they become a serious problem. Our Cone Beam CT scanner scans the jaws and teeth digitally to produce 3D cross sectional images, which we use to evaluate a patient’s oral health.

What is it?

The Invisalign treatment involves a series of clear and removable aligners to gradually straighten your teeth. They are comfortable and removable so that no one can tell you are wearing one, so you can smile confidently during the treatment period as well as after. Using 3-D digital imaging technology, Invisalign clear aligners are manufactured to the exact measurements of your teeth and has been proven effective in the US and Canada where more than 70% of orthodontists are Invisalign certified.

Why would I want it?

Unlike traditional braces, the aligners are barely noticable and removable to allow eating and drinking with no restrictions, plus there will be no problems brushing and flossing. They are also comfortable compared to the metal braces that causes abrasions in the mouth, which also means less time is spent with your dentist getting adjustments. You can also view your own Invisalign virtual treatment plan at the start to see how your straigntened teeth will look when you have completed your treatment.

How does it work?

You will be prescribed a series of aligners and wear each set for a period of two to four weeks, removing them only when eating, drinking and cleaning. As each aligner is replaced with the next set in the series, little by little, week by week, you teeth will gradually move towards the prescribed final position. About once every six weeks, you will visit us for checks to ensure your treatment progress is on track as planned. The treatment period typically ranges between 9 to 15 months and the number of aligners prescribed for the treatment averages between 18 to 30, both varying on a case to case basis.
